Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, we ask that all eligible attendees (12 and older) be vaccinated against COVID-19.

No gifts please! But if you’d like to mark the occasion, please make a donation to one of the following organizations: Tarrant Area Food Bank, Northwest Harvest, or Feeding America.

No worries, there’s a section on the RSVP form for that. Please include the type of restriction and number of people that it affects. Example: 3 - Vegan, 1 - Gluten Free.

We’ll work with you on a strategy.

We’ll be celebrating indoors and away from the elements. However, the entire park is open to you. Due to Seattle parks restrictions, you’ll need to keep alcohol indoors at all times.

We generally prefer AirBnBs for price and flexibility, but if you would like to stay in a proper hotel the downtown area is your best bet for selection and central location.

Seattle's primary airport is SeaTac (SEA) but there's another less busy airport roughly equidistant to Seattle at Paine Field (PAE).

We would suggest Uber or Lyft for getting around Seattle, but there are also multiple rental car options. If you're feeling adventurous, the Seattle Link Light Rail system will take you from SeaTac to the downtown area. Metro bus service also provides access to most places in Seattle.

Due to limited parking at the venue and the open bar, we'd recommend using Uber or Lyft to get to and from the venue.

Limited parking is available near the venue and within a short walk, but because the venue is on a public beach, availability may be limited.

You should prepare for light rain, lows in the 50s and highs in the 60s. The venue is indoors and has heating.

Why wouldn't you put a robot on a wedding invitation?

We’d like you to dress up a little and still be comfortable. The best descriptor we’ve found is Wedding Casual.

A summer sundress is appropriate (just make sure the fabric isn't overly formal). Wedges or dressy sandals are the perfect footwear for a casual wedding, but sandals and sneakers are not. Wear dress pants or khaki pants with a collared shirt. You can add a tie or sports jacket if you'd like, but it's not required. If it's chilly, feel free to add a sweater, as well. Steer clear of any t-shirts or tennis shoes.

Our ceremony and reception is at the historic Golden Gardens Bathhouse. Built in the 1930s it originally housed a changing room, storage facility, and a lifeguard station. Renovated in 2004, it now hosts events (like our wedding).
